Travel has always been everything for me. The reason being my belief that books never tell you what a rare experience of exploring a place can be. I am sure you know what I mean? No? Well, then I think you haven’t travelled much yet and my advice, you really need to if you wish to learn about life. Be that as it may, I am an ardent traveller and here are some of the things that travel has taught me really well:

1. It’s all about the journey and not the destination

Most of the tourists bother about the destination but for travellers like me, it’s the journey that counts. Believe me, the little experiences that lie in between the journey are bigger than what beauty a destination holds.

2. You don’t need a roof

Once you learn to travel, you are okay with sleeping in tents, on roads, in jungles and wherever you feel peace. Yeah, who cares about the roof?

3. You don’t need a car

All our life we need a roof and a car but a traveller needs none. You explore city by walking here and there, look at everything without any vehicle and still enjoy it.

4. Life is full of adventure

Regular life teaches us to be disciplined and protective but travel tells us to go, explore and have some fun because there’s no end to adventure in life.

5. You just need a second to change life

While travelling, you might just come across something so random that your life will change in just a fraction of second. Yes, it happens.

6. Nature is beyond beautiful

Living in urban cities, we kinda forget how beautiful our mother nature is. But once we start exploring, we learn how majestic it could be.

7. Local is better than imported

Yes, we might like to sip onto the best wine from France but it won’t give you as good a feeling as lugdi or chaang will give in the mountains.

8. Sunsets are always different

Even if you have travelled the whole world and have seen a thousand sunsets, things will always be different next time too.

9. You have the power to create moments

Yes and travel gives you that power. Once you become a traveller, you would know perfectly how to execute the very right moment in the most perfect manner.

10. Home is where you make it

Being home sick is not a thing for travellers because every place they go to is their home.
