After months of speculation and weeks of will-they-won’t-they, we were told that IPL 2020 will in fact happen. The IPL schedule was announced to a deeply grateful and happy cricket-mad populace. With just hours to go before the beginning of IPL 2020, there are those who cannot wait for the yearly international cricket carnival to start.
People have been counting down to the IPL 2020’s first match.
IPL 2020 is scheduled to start 19 September at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
This is the first time that an American player features in the IPL.
According to reports, there will be no big opening fanfare this time around.
