Some very close matches and plenty of funny memes celebrating or mourning the teams that people support – it’s all going on at IPL 2021. Here’s what happened in match numbers 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 of the IPL:

Though bowler Mohammad Siraj had been expensive in the previous overs, he nailed the Yorkers in the final over and helped his team steal a win by just one run in the end.
Sunrisers Hyderabad decided to bat after winning the toss. Chennai Super Kings, riding high on recent successes came into the match confident. SRH made 171 for 3.
In spite of 57 from the skipper David Warner and 61 from Manish Pandey, CSK won easily, by 7 wickets and 9 balls to spare.
The team is performing well as a unit this year, feel fans. Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad made 75 off 44 to claim Player of the Match and the other opener Faf du Plessis notched up a half-century.
Mumbai Indians bowled first after winning the toss. Sanju Samson made 42 off 27 with Jos Buttler making 41 off 32 to take Rajasthan Royals up to 171 for 4.
The guy who is always the subject of memes made 39 off 26.
Quinton de Kock came through for his team and made 70 * off 50 and was adjudged Player of the Match.
Delhi Capitals bowled first after winning the toss. KKR made 154 for 6 with Andre Russell making 45 off 27 and Shubman Gill finally coming through with 43 off 38.
He went on the offence right from Shivam Mavi’s first over and slammed six consecutive fours in the over.
Shaw made his half century in just 18 balls and made 82 runs in just 41 balls. DC won and he was declared Man of the Match.
Right now CSK is on the top with 10 points from 6 matches. DC has the same number of points from 7 matches and RCB also has 10 points from 6 matches. MI comes next with 6 points and KKR has 4 points.
