There’s never a dull moment on Twitter; and the strangest of things start to trend on the micro-blogging platform. Anything seems to get a reaction, from old movie stills to sweaty armpits! Here are some of the funniest and cleverest of Twitter posts to catch our attention:
It would appear that some people have nothing better to do than nit-pick so one random person pointed out Mithali Raj’s sweaty armpit in a photo she tweeted about attending the inaugution of a cricket academy.
Never one to back down from trolling, this is what Raj said: “I m where I m because I sweated it out on d field! I see no reason 2 b ashamed f it, when I'm on d ground inaugurating a cricket academy.’
…became a meme! The original still pertains to the climax scene of the first song-less Tamil film, where the killer is unmasked. One wit shared the photo with the tweet: “Khap Panchayat, when a girl eats Chowmein”. Another had this to say.
And made a crack about nepotism in Bollywood taking a straight dig at its various flag bearers.

When SRK went to visit the ailing legend Dilip Kumar (whom he calls his mooh-bola beta); there was a tumult of responses. The blessings, heartfelt delight at the gesture and love for both poured in from Twitterers.
Here is an example of the Surprise Me trend: “Foreigner Girl: Surprise me / Indian mob: stops staring”. Another asked actual good rappers to surprise us by getting us a Grammy.
This Twitter trend garnered a lot of participation with tweets about how thrifty Indian parents are, about their aspirations and the way they “age-splain” you through life. “Indian parents expect you to be independent but will literally make all of your major life decisions til the day you die” said one tweet. As for the tweet in the picture, True Story!
