Even those who don’t really like dogs find the corners of their mouths turning up into a smile at the sight of cute puppies. The reason that most people cannot seem to resist puppies – or even pictures of puppies is due to something that experts call the “baby schema” effect. It is a phenomenon that triggers the release of certain hormones when looking at puppies. It’s the same with babies and it is also the same when we fall in love, say the experts!
The love of a canine is the purest, most selfless form of love. It is difficult to resist – even if that puppy is chewing up everything in sight and making it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep.
Curious, puzzled, amazed. This look is all of that and more. There is only one thing to do: pick it up and give it a proper cuddle.
Everyone needs a little bit of crazy in their life. That puppy provides more than you need: it’s nonstop entertainment.
They will chase their tails for what seems like hours. When they finally catch it, they have no clue what they want to do with it.
When awake, that puppy is wreaking all manner of havoc all over the house. When asleep, that little devil transforms into an angel.
Those little tykes are so small, so utterly defenceless, they make us come over all protective.
That gush of affection seems inversely proportional to the size of that little creature --- whether it is the actual canine mom or a human parent.
That little puppy may have climbed into its own bowl of food, chewed up slippers, dug up pots and caused untold mayhem. However, it is not possible to stay mad for long.
This could well be someone's idea of heaven – a puppy party. All those little fur babies swarming all over will help any level of stress melt right away!
