A short Twitter video of a few seconds has gone hugely viral and currently has over 12 million views. This is because the video features creatures that look terrifyingly like a couple of aliens --- but quite innocuously are just baby owls.
This Twitter user shared the clip of baby owls who, with their strange legs and large eyes looked remarkably like aliens. This made the poster conclude that previous alien sightings also consisted of baby owls.
The video got people wondering --- after all, the likeness is uncanny.

The resemblance to the human imagination of aliens is really uncanny, thought the tweeple --- this side by side shot proves as much.
Alleged owls, that is. The original poster replied with “It’s an amazing piece of art, but you really must burn it immediately.”
Owls have legs, this commentator pointed out the obvious to explain why the baby owls look so strange.
They fixed the audio of the video by superimposing the X-Files track on it.
This commentator replied like this.
They wondered how they would sleep at night. “Check your attic” suggested someone.
This is even more nightmarish!
Someone wanted to know how that video was taken – clearly someone was brave enough to take that video.
