Why is Hrithik Roshan so angry with Kananga Ranaut? Why is she making accusations against him? Why are there legal notices flying around and media conjecture and salacious gossip rife on the issue? There seems to something of a tempest in a teacup here; but one got rather curious about the whys, the wherefores and the who said to whom about the matter. So here is the timeline of the Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut controversy:
She called him “silly ex”
In an interview at the beginning of the year, Kangana Ranaut referred to Hrithik Roshan as her “silly ex”. Though she did acknowledge a relationship with him, Kangana’s lawyer says that at no point did she actually say that the ‘silly ex’ referred to Hrithik Roshan specifically.
He didn’t like it at all
Her sent her a legal notice for defamation in February 2016, denied that there was any kind of relationship between the two stars and also alleged that she had been stalking him; sending him up to 50 emails a day. She fired a notice right back at him via her lawyer.
Hrithik published the tweet that got him into trouble
He tweeted that “There are more chances of me having had an affair with the Pope than any of the (I’m sure wonderful) women the media has been naming.” He was attacked for hurting religious sentiments and had to apologise.
She says he’s trying to hush up the relationship
Kangana is known to be open and forthright about her relationships whereas Hrithik is known to be circumspect and very careful of his image. She alleges that he tried to hush up the affair between them because of the possible implications it could have on his divorce with Suzanne Khan.
Apparently there is some impostor in the fray

According to sources there was an impostor sending Kangana emails claiming to be Hrithik back in May 2014. Apparently this is a case of the exchange of numerous emails exchanged between Kangana’s real email ID and Hrithik’s fake ID and a complaint was filed with the cyber crime unit about the impostor.
Kangana has been summoned by the cops
Now apparently Kangana and her sister Rangoli have been summoned for the recording of an official statement in the matter.
So this is now things stand at this time. We will undoubtedly know how the plot thickens or at least gets murkier in times to come.
