Hindi soaps are in a class all of their own – strange things happen such as a strangulation that results from a slap, inexplicable incidents involving suitcases. And of course the sindoor trope, which people apparently, cannot have enough of – why else would serial makers continue to dish it up?
Someone threw something, someone slipped, a Pooja thali became airborne, there was a great deal of pushing and shoving and things landed on some heads. This scene is from the series Thapki Pyar Ki, which appears to be a repeat offender.
So how far up did this thali go that people had so much time to give their reactions, and push and shove each other out of the way – into space?
RIP every known law of science.
Why let laws of science come in the way of some good old melodrama!
Does no one involved in the ‘creative’ process take a moment to think, hey, maybe this is unlikely?
Haven’t we had enough of the sindoor falling and accidently marrying random folk?
And the reaction of many of the 4 lakh+ people who watched this video.
Some reactions were more extreme than others.
I don’t know who watches this kind of content, but clearly there are people out there watching this.
Why do so many viewers accept this tripe? Are we less discerning and more regressive than before?
Is it thanks to cheap data, an absolute deluge of content, and a severe issue around joblessness, that there has been the dumbing down of a whole generation.
Slowest fall ever!
In Thor Ragnarok – understandably.
Face on!
The absurd stories, a one minute scene stretched over an entire episode, the endless seasons… really why are scenes like this nth sindoor scene from Pyar ki Thapki still happening?
