Burning Disney Questions That Were Never Answered!

Many Disney movies have gone on to become some of the most beloved movies of all times. That doesn’t mean that they were all flawless, or that we didn’t have some questions related to logic and plausibility that we wanted answered. For instance I always wondered why the original Snow White had such an incredibly irritating voice. But this is far from the only question; there are so many other Disney questions that need answering:

He is in the jungle, presumably without access to the tools for personal grooming. He is certainly old enough to have facial hair – raising the burning question, why is Tarzan clean-shaven?

Pluto is Mickey Mouse’s pet. He cannot speak or do human stuff. Goofy is Mickey’s friend who can do human stuff. But both are dogs? And how does a mouse have a dog as a pet?

So Cinderella ran when the clock started to strike 12, accidentally leaving her glass slipper behind. My first question is how did she walk much less dance and run in a glass slipper? My second question is why did the slipper (found by the prince) not disappear at midnight along with her finery, the horses, coach, footmen and the other slipper?

This one troubled me even as a child: how did Sleeping Beauty and everyone else in the palace survive without food and water for a hundred years? Also didn’t she have bad breath when she finally woke up? Didn’t the prince mind?

You see he was called Scar (not birthmark) presumably because of the scar which he got at some point in his life. What name did he go by before this? What was his real name?

All that flinging about of hair, people climbing up towers using said hair…Rapunzel must have been in a lot of pain! Also how fast did her hair grow for it to become that long?

So Winnie the Pooh wears a shirt but no pants? And isn’t Winnie a girl’s name? Also what is a ‘Pooh’? 

In Up, when Russell goes swanning off in a floating house with a crabby geriatric, wasn’t anyone at home worried? I know I was!

After he became a real boy, did he remain the same age and size or did he then grow up? Did he then join Gepetto’s business and create more of his own kind?

Firstly, where were they going in the canoe with the infant Mowgli? And what happened to them that left the little one to be discovered by Bagheera and to be raised by wolves? Also, what kind of a name is Mowgli?
