We had the original Jumanji film a long time ago (1995) with Robin Williams. The ‘sequel’ was nothing like the original film and had nothing in common with it except for the fact that people disappear inside games in both films. The 2017 film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle had progressed from a board game to a video game. Jumanji: The Next Level will release in December 2019.
Dwayne The Rock Johnson announced the release of the final trailer on Halloween with this funny video of him and his costar Kevin Hart.
This film is also about escaping into a game and stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and others from the last movie. This film will also star Danny Glover, Danny DeVito and Awkwafina.
Fans of the actors as well as the franchise as a whole are very excited to see the trailer.

For a lot of people, the Jumanji sequels can never match up to the original film starring Robin Williams. I sort of agree. The Robin Williams version was darker and kind of scarier. That said, the trailer of Jumanji: The Next Level promises a funny, entertaining and watchable film.
