Sigh! Another day, another ludicrous internet challenge. They range from the silly to the bizarre to the frankly dangerous and seem to get ever weirder. The latest on the horizon is this new Instagram challenge where everyone pretends to have tripped and fallen, maybe unconscious or as though they’ve been mugged or something. The Falling Stars 2018 challenge requires people to pose as though they’ve fallen and maybe passed out, with various things strewn around them. Why? No idea.
This was something that Russian millionaires apparently found fascinating. The idea is to pose as though one has fallen flat (in cases rendered unconscious); preferably while stepping out of a private jet.
A private yacht is a great option – indicates a luxurious lifestyle as easily as a private plane. This carefully framed image also has the contents of a bag strewn around. Why? Again, no bloody idea.
If they are trying to portray a rich, hedonistic, irresponsible lifestyle, they are going a good job of it. This guy has a very fancy car, but the beer can next to him seems to want to indicate that he doesn’t quite have the good sense not to drink and drive.
I look at this one and I wonder where she fell from. That is a fairly impossible looking position….also she appears to have thrown down her work and then fallen artfully on it.
This is literally one of my worst nightmares: falling and getting crushed on an elevator, getting clothing stuck in there and then slowly being strangled to death. WHY would anyone want to create an image like this… why, why, why!
These women appear to be crawling out of a small plane in pursuit of things that that seem to be crawling away from them. But she's smiling! Maybe they're having fun!
The car is pink, her outfit is the same shade of pink, and so are her bags and sunglasses. One would believe that she actually fell out and spilt the contents of her bag, if it weren’t for those excessively strange balloon creatures.
How did they get the cat to pose! Or maybe they just waited till the cat was dead, arranged all the stuff around it and then clicked the pic. So that is the #FallingStars2018 challenge… the latest until the next challenge occupies everyone's minds and bandwidth that is.
