I am firmly a dog person; and believe that dogs are in fact quite marvellous creatures; that children can really benefit growing up in a household with a pet dog(s). However, I do acknowledge that cats command some pretty fierce loyalty as well; that many cats and practically all kittens are objectively adorable.
