You do realise that humans are draining the planet’s natural resources to derive energy. This energy is being used to make everything around us work. That includes something as simple as lighting our houses. No, we are not suggesting you live in the dark. We are recommending that you influence supply buyers in your home to choose LED instead of CFL bulbs, that will in the long run save them money and will also work towards saving the planet. We have only one of those by the way. #JustSaying. In case they ask, then here are some reasons to back you up.
Longer lifespan
During the comparison of LED and CFL light, the very first thing comes to mind is life. A well-built LED light can maintain (70%) of its brightness even after 50000 hours. It doesn’t go off after that, but illumination decreases afterwards. CFL bulb also becomes little dim, but after its life (8000-10000 hours), it goes totally dark.
Ecologically friendly
LED lights contain no toxic materials and are 100% recyclable, and will help you to reduce your carbon footprint by up to 33%. The long operational life time span mentioned above means also that one LED light bulb can save material and production of 25 incandescent light bulbs. A big step towards a greener future.
Zero UV emissions
LED lighting is highly suitable not only for goods and materials that are sensitive to heat due to the benefit of little-radiated heat emission but also for illumination of UV sensitive objects or materials such as in museums, art galleries, archeological sites etc.
Light dispersement
LED is designed to focus its light and can be directed to a specific location without the use of an external reflector, achieving a higher application efficiency than conventional lighting.
