It always amazes me; the sort of people who garner massive followings on social media – sometimes for no reason at all; sometimes for the most bizarre of reasons. Then there are handles that articulate some of the many social media grouses that we have – and occasionally speak to draw attention to some important issues. Instagram’s Dude With Sign is one such. He has 5.2 million followers. Then there is the Indian Guy with Sign with 121k followers.
Among sitcom aficionados, this statement qualifies as provocative. However, over 174k likes on the post indicate that there are many who do in fact prefer Seinfeld to Friends.
People sometimes say ‘I could care less,’ instead of ‘I couldn’t care less’. This sort of thing is very troubling for me as well. Thanks for pointing this out, dude with sign.
Astronomically priced dishes in fine dining restaurants are a pet peeve as well. Many would agree that originality and presentation are rather overrated when it comes to food.
The West needs to hear this. Perhaps it made sense in the past, but daylight savings is now an obsolete (and dangerous as the comment beside the post clarifies) concept. Sticking to it is like a truculent child who cannot admit to a mistake.
I have enough FOMO with Amazon Prime and Netflix; without the added stress of wondering what else I'm missing out on, on other streaming services.

Guy with Sign has some of the same concerns Dude with Sign does. He points out that Starbucks is still cool and Indian wannabes are still posting their lattes on social media. They need to stop. Also, the green light at traffic signals is not a licence to start honking. The Guy with Sign also urges people not to make TikTok videos everywhere or a story each time they smoke a hookah. Also, zero people care if about others taking a break from social media – most will not notice.
