My Chemical Romance (MCR or My Chem for fans) is the New Jersey alternative/punk rock band that disbanded in 2013. The announcement of a reunion made on Halloween day, 2019 sent fans into a tizzy of delight. The band announced regrouping, a concert date and a new merchandise line.
The band announced its reunion as well as a 20 December date in LA.
Described as an emo band (rock characterised by emotional expression) by some; emo fans are excited (though the band itself rejects the descriptor).

Some were quite overcome with emotion!
Clearly it is not. Emo fans are really delighted.
For those who loved the band growing up, it has been six years since the band split up. They are looking forward to new music from the band.
This twitter user refers to the band’s lead singer Gerard and their previously unreleased single Fake your Death. This was released as part of the band’s greatest hits collection called May Death Never Stop You in 2014.
Some are getting that nostalgic feeling.

The timing of the reunion announcement coincided with Halloween.
Fans felt that the timing is really appropriate.
Fans are happy that the band is back together, however some are sad that they don’t have the money to buy a concert ticket
