The dystopian Korean drama Squid Game on Netflix has become really popular. This is about horrifying games where desperate people, deep in debt are pitted against each other and systematically killed off. I don’t know why it is so popular, but it is. Needless to say, the meme makers are delighted to have such complex new characters and situations to make memes out of. The show is dark and deeply grim; thankfully the memes aren't:
