1. He started off as a bus conductor
Soon after completing his school education, Rajinikanth continued to perform various jobs including that of a carpenter, and coolie in the state of Madras and Bangalore. He finally ended up getting recruited in BTS (Banglore transport service) as a bus conductor.

Even though Rajinikanth is as rich as a king now, he treasures his old car, old clothes and old memories. He believes, these things can help him remember how far he has come till now.

During Chennai floods, Rajnikant donated 10 Crore towards the relief and also cancelled his lavish birthday party. He is the man who asked his fans to celebrate his birthday by participating in the relief for flood victims.

He is a selfless man and returns money to the distributors from his own pocket if his movie does not earn much on screens. But we don’t think it has happened, except in a few very rare cases.

Once two of his fans died on their way from Rajinikanth’s birthday celebration. Rajinikanth was so badly affected by this that he stopped celebrating his birthday in Chennai.

A few of Rajini’s fans started a political party called Desiya Dravadar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam in 2008 to pressure him to enter politics. But he refused, saying that nobody can force him to enter politics or stop him from doing so.
