Valentine’s Week is underway! Yesterday we spoke about Rose Day which apparently is followed by Propose Day in the romantic scheme of things. There is a whole week of observances where couples are supposed to profess their love for each other in various ways. So on Propose Day, some shared great proposals and some funny memes: take a look
I haven’t been much of an SRK fan, but always had friends and cousins that adore him. Reading the book Desperately Seeking Shah Rukh by Shrayana Bhattacharya I understand more of his allure now.
Seemed like a stalker proposal to me, but hey, the girl seems to think differently.

You could say he was being presumptuous but it is undeniable that he took a lot of trouble. She could have let him down gently – and maybe not hit him on the head?
Versus reality
One has to put oneself out there to tell the other person that one likes/loves the other person. There is always a chance of rejection
Someone declares their feelings and gets turned down; they are then consigned to the dreaded friend zone.
The boy and girl may both may both like each other – but others may decide they don’t like the relationship.
The expected proposal doesn’t happen.

The guys promise them the earth – things turn out differently later.
Rose, propose, teddy, chocolate, hug, kiss – the whole Valentine Day week is not for them.
