The Dancing Couple is Back, Giving Everyone Fresh Couple Goals

Remember the dancing uncle who went wildly viral a while back? And then the adorable Sardar dancing couple that debuted on Instagram and transitioned to WhatsApp to become wildly viral as well? Well it would seem that we Indians love it when regular Joes putting on their dancing shoes and regale us by shaking a leg – probably because they remind us of us. So the dancing couple is back and everyone is loving it!

You probably saw this one

The smart looking Sikh gent and his stylish wife with her pallu neatly tucked, are seen grooving to the peppy Punjabi track Lamberghini. The video was posted by their daughter Gitana Singh on Instagram; however it became viral across social media: on YouTube, WhatsApp and more.

The dancing couple again

Gitana Singh's Instagram description reads thus: “Cocoa Bark Series • Singer • Chocolatier • Hugger • Travelbug • Performer • Dessert and Caffeine Addict”. She posted a second video of her parents doing their delightful jive on the song they have made their own; the video now has over 191k views.

Still dancing

The sprightly couple is seen on the occasion of her birthday – his pagdi matches her saree – and they are once again seen delighting people with their footwork.

Viral once again

The young at heart couple captured everyone's imagination the second time as well. Various publications reported how the second video went viral as well.

Couple goals

The video was posted on Facebook as well, where one person was seen tagging their significant other “this better be us in 30 years” or words to that effect. The tweeple also expressed the hope that they would find someone to dance with forever.

Age is just a number

It is indeed! He has a full white beard, she is lovely and graceful but not exactly a spring chicken. However, these two people clearly know what it takes to be young at heart and to express affection for each other.

Thanks

A lot of people thanked Gitana Singh for sharing the joyful video of her parents with the world. It gave a lot of people couple goals / relationship goals; they were tagging those they “wanted to grow old and dance with like this”. This lovely dancing couple reminds us that relationships can remain fresh and young and joyful even years later; that it is possible to cherish and love and value each other even after (presumably) decades of being together!
