The trailer of Ajay Devgan's first non-mainstream movie is here, starring Radhika Apte, Surveen Chawla and Tannishtha Chatterjee. Directed by Leena Yadav, this movie has been touring international film festivals since 2015 and is now slated to release in India on September 23.
Even though the movie is woman oriented, it is a lesson for men. "This movie is not for the women as they have nothing as such to learn from this film. It shows how the women are treated. So from this movie, men need to learn how a woman should be treated," Devgan said yesterday at the trailer launch event. However, how much will the mentality of the Indian men change, is yet to be seen.
The movie is set in Ujhaas, a village in north west India and revolves arounds the lives of four women from a village in Rajasthan. The trials and tribulations that rural women in India go through is shown in a just way in this film.
With an interesting story line and strong cast, we hope this movie does well at the box office and honestly, Indian men have some lessons to learn.
