Who’d have thought that Rahul Dravid would be hailed for his acting chops years after he hung up his bat? That, however, is precisely what has happened with the Cred ad he did as Indranagar ka Gunda. So successful was the ad that people on social media are still talking about it. There has been a sort of second wave of #IndranagarKaGunda. Standup comic Tanmay Bhat published a vlog, there is now another Cred ad with Kumar Sanu. People are even looking up older Cred ads featuring other celebrities.
Cred released this short video showing Rahul Dravid being angry, followed by his reaction – to himself – after they yelled cut. It’s as if he just cannot believe what he is doing. This video also promptly went viral with almost 1.5 million views in just a couple of days.
So there we have AK being his usual energetic, expansive self, supposedly for an ad. The ad makers decide it is all too much and AK decides he is too big for it all.

The singer is in his getup, complete with the backup babes. But Cred still wants to go with the voice over. After all, ‘not everyone gets it’.

Here we have Jackie being Jackie – too cool for life in general. There's only music, no words. And the ad is clever in what it doesn’t say – pay your bills, even credit card bills and be rewarded.
Here the ubiquitous Jimmy Sarbh shares a secret: Jackie apparently loves Zumba… and some fairly over the top gym wear.
This one features Kumar Sanu – complete with the he-he-he-he and the la-la-la-la.
