When the Folks of San Francisco Were Taken In By the AirPod Sticker Prank

Someone decided to prank the people of San Francisco – by printing and pasting stickers of Apple AirPods at various places. Many fell for the prank and stopped to pick up what they thought was a fallen AirPod.

This guy decided to print lots of AirPod stickers and stick them at various places to see how people responded to this.

People were reminded of this

Some years back, there was a similar fake electrical outlet at airport prank which had also gone viral.

Evil

Some thought that this was a nasty little prank to pull.

Or a pervert?

People also conjectured whether the aim of the prank was just to watch people bend over.

Possible reactions

It couldn’t have been nice for those who got taken in by the prank, thought some of the tweeple.

Not interested

Many decided that if they saw just one AirPod they wouldn’t be interested. I agree; I wouldn’t be interested in just one of a pair either.
