There is a relatively new star upon the Star Wars horizon and that is The Child; which the internet refers to as Baby Yoda. The creature appears in the original television series The Mandalorian. This breakout character is of the Mandalorian species (same as Jedi Master Yoda) that has earned fame and adoration much like the Minions did and continue to do. So Baby Yoda, with the melting big eyes is something everyone wishes was real --- because so cuddly!
People with a very, very foggy idea about Star Wars in general (like me) have become familiar with the universe because Baby Yoda is that cute.
