Why Everyone Is Swaying To Bolo Har Har Har From Shivaay

The title track from the upcoming Ajay Devgan starrer and directorial venture Shivaay released recently on Hotstar and had everyone swinging to the first song release from Shivaay. The trailer of the movie had received rave responses earlier and the movie slated for a Diwali release promises the same.

Unlike other song releases that release via YouTube and so on, this one released exclusively via Hotstar where you can view it right now. Ajay Devgan announced the release of the song via his Twitter handle.

Composed by Mithoon, the song is sung by Mohit Chauhan, Sukhwinder, Megha Sriram, Dalton and Badshah. The song consists of sholkas rendered in a modern style. The visuals are dark and evocative; using special effects. #BoloHarHarHar seems indicative of the sort of movie we can expect.

 Director and lead actor Ajay Devgan had very specific requirements of the song, said composer Mithoon and the song was about a year in the making. The trippy number is a mix of the traditional and contemporary rap bits and seems set to become something of a chart buster.

So much so that the #MesmerisingShivaaySong and #BoloHarHarHar hashtags took Twitter by storm. Celebs and the hoi polloi were both gushing about the song.

The song’s intensity is matched by the intensity of the lead actor's eyes, many Tweeple felt.

The release of Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will coincide with the release of Shivaay at Diwali. There are rumors of a falling out between Johar and Devgan because of this clash; certainly on Twitter there appeared to be a war between followers of Shivaay on the one hand and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on the other.

The man famous merely for being famous, Kamaal R Khan was also somehow involved. According to some reports Devgan accused Johar of sabotaging the prospects of Shivaay by paying KRK to tweet negatively about his film and to praise his Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. There were reports of Rs 25 lakhs having changed hands so that KRK would be able to influence his followers and others on Twitter.

Thanks to the ugly public spat, speculation is rife and people are wondering whether the long and celebrated friendship between Karan Johar and Kajol was now at an end.
