I am a dog person; unreservedly so. They are unconditionally loving, loyal, steadfast, intelligent, and adorable --- I think they are the finest of creatures. A dog will love their human, no matter what a poor an excuse for a human they may be. Of course, there are some nasty dogs in the world; but even they love their humans. And while most doggies are happiest when out for their walk; there are some who may have other priorities, as this viral video recently demonstrated:
This dog is like – imma lie down here now, in the middle of the … like this… with my paws up in the air like. Either that is a lazy dog or that is a dog who just has zero f**ks to give.
A lot of Americans are still dealing with the news of more mass shootings followed by yet more inaction by the authorities. Some of the tweeple were just having a bad day. All of them liked that dog.
Perhaps that dog is doing strictly its own thing was a little embarrassing for their human. But for those watching the video, it was just really, really cute!
At the time of this tweet, the video had 160k views. It now has about 3 million views. Clearly, this is a dog that made a lot of people happy.
This one also thinks walks are overrated. Lying down is sooo much nicer.
Sure doggo would like a walk; just not right now.
Something like – it’s belly-rub-o’clock, not walk-o’clock.
One silly dog, inspired others to post pictures of other silly-but-adorable pets --- getting some beauty sleep --- not really worried that this may not be their best angle.
“Deal with it,” this little Dachshund seems to be saying.
Ask that poor doggie who rather be sniffing in the bushes or be chasing a squirrel rather than be walking sedately, tethered to a leash.
So what does the human do when their doggo decides to lie down, belly up? Pretty much nothing. Especially if, as this Twitter user says, one has a 30kg+ Pitbull.
That doggo wants to enjoy the beach – Just not walk to enjoy it.
…But sometimes one just wants to loll. Lolling is good! It’s fun and it’s relaxing! Maybe humans can learn something from these clued in canines?
