Bad hair days are like bad moods: They come and go, they normally originate from something you did wrong in the bedroom, and you’d prefer that they don’t stick around for too long. Jokes apart, here are 6 ways of fixing a bad hair day.
Pony tail
You’re already having a bad hair day and just want to put it in a ponytail. Leave the top section out while gathering the back into a pony, secure with elastic, then add in the front section and secure with a second elastic. If you leave that top section out, you can get a perfect tight ponytail at the back.
Hat head
Switch your part. Don’t ever put your hat on the same way you want to wear your hair. Before you pull your hat over your head, push your hair over to the opposite side you normally wear your part on, then switch it back when you take the hat off.
Flat hair
A curling iron is a really good way to get some volume right away. Use a workable hairspray on the underside of the roots, lets it dry and then runs your hands through to add some volume.
Oily hair
While lifting your hair, spray lightly on the roots, let sit a minute or two, and then brush out. The product will absorb the oil and leave your hair fresh and ready to go.
Try a new shampoo
Your hair’s texture gradually becomes accustomed to your regular shampoo and conditioner. Your hairstyle reaches its best point, but then it starts going down. That’s why you should switch up your shampoo and conditioner every month or so; it’ll do wonders for your hair.
Use less styling products
After work and before going out don’t overload your hair with more styling products. Instead, simply wet your hair and replenish the product you started out with that morning. Applying too much of any type of hair product definitely won’t make your hair look nicer, only greasier.
