It is always a great idea to colour your hair or to get highlights. But the key is getting them right. Here are a few tips that can help you out with selecting hair colour.
Natural Colour
The favourable natural colour for Indians would be shades of brown, burgundy, etc. But it is important that you choose a colour that doesn’t work against your skin tone. For example, if your skin gets red pretty quick, avoid shades of red.
Burgundy
Burgundy is best suited for girls with a darker skin tone. It will complement your skin tone perfectly and give you that chic look you are aiming for.
Red
With an endless palette, red can be quite tricky. Girls with fair skin tone should go for lighter shades and darker skin tone should be complemented by darker shades.
Golden
This is a dangerous one. You need to tread very carefully if you are going for the golden shade. It is better not to opt for the fully blonde mode, as it doesn’t really go well with Indian skin tones. You can get highlights in shades of gold or get your tips coloured in gold. Always take special care not to overdo it.
