Maximum excitement when they are in town
If they are in the country, you get to go to more evenings out and visit places you normally wouldn’t go because they will take you with them. And they have more money because they earn is a stronger currency.
Buying a lot of masalas
You will find yourself going to the wholesale market to buy a lot of different masalas, in large quantities.
Putting their accent to use or not
How you tell them to not speak in street markets where bargaining is required. Their accent is bound to get the initial asking price to go up significantly. Teaching them local abuses and then going into splits hearing them say it.
Dealing with their amazement at the filth in our streets, public defecation and littering
Every time they come they are surprised all over again at how dirty India is. They will exclaim when they see public defecation, littering, spitting and now they start asking whats going on with Swacch Bharat?
Puffing up with pride
