Dubai is often dubbed as a shopper's paradise not just because it attracts the best international and local brands but also because of the great deals that shoppers are offered from time to time. At Dubai’s malls, the best deals and the best labels will be jostling for space during the Dubai Summer Surprises. Here is what we know so far.
This will be the 22nd edition of Dubai Summer Surprises, the yearly shopping festival that everyone looks forward to. It will start on 21st June and carry on till 3rd August 2019. The DFRE (Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment) offers fun events, promotions, discounted sales and more via this event.
This is one of the largest ‘edutainment’ facilities in the city; where children learn while they play, skate, dive, climb, explore, create and eat. There will be one exclusive deal announced each day for a select brand, live concerts and more. The video is a glimpse into Modhesh World in previous editions of the shopping festival.
Various malls will be offering amazing deals on top brands. There may be huge discounts announced for limited periods, extended working hours as well as freebie deals. There will be discounts on electronics, apparel, food items, accessories and more.
Amusement attractions in malls and elsewhere will also be offering attractive discounts during the Summer Surprises. Promotional offers, freebies, great hotel deals, family entertainment and complementary services will be announced as we know more details about the event.
Entertainment performances, both free and paid will be a part of the Summer Surprises Dubai events. Musical events, drama, street performers will form a part of the proceedings. Great food deals will be other attractions on offer.
There are also chances for shoppers to earn life-changing prizes – either in cash or in kind – throughout the summer.
