Valentine's Day can be tough on people – for people in relationships there is significant pressure to make grand romantic gestures. For single people there is the feeling of being left out and feeling alone. The week of mush kicks off a whole week before Valentine’s starting with Rose Day.
Marketers are cashing in on it all, with a whole week for romance beginning with 7th February for Rose Day. Then there is Propose Day. Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Kiss Day, Hug Day and then Valentine's Day.

Perhaps this is a day for singles to play pranks on others.
But not participating. This image of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma has become a huge meme recently, so it was bound to appear.
One organisation had a unique fundraising idea: they offered singles the option to have creatures literally take a dump on their exes. Useful way for those singles who had their hearts broken, to celebrate Rose Day.
