We Know Why You Get Angry So Easily

An ideal person is a person who stays calm like Lord Buddha. People generally avoid talking to angry people as it ruins everyone's mood. Anger is a common emotion which should be treated in a positive way and behave calmly. Uncontrolled and excessive anger can take a complete toll on your day to day behaviour and health as well. If your anger rises like a rocket, here are some tips to deal with anger and even keep it under control.

Think before you speak

Most of the arguments and fights are due to the words and not the intention behind the words. Words can have an impact on a person's mind and hence it is important to think before you speak. Take a few seconds and think about the little things that can hurt a person or may destroy future relationships.

Calm down and then express your thoughts

As soon as your anger has calmed down and you are in a clear mood, you can express your frustration in a gentle and polite way. You should speak about the reason behind your anger without hurting anyone's emotions. State your concerns directly and clearly.

Work it out

If you are stressed about something and you often get angry on a particular thing, you should try to work it out. Physical activities are one of the best ways to work out on your anger and release negativity from your mind. Walking, running or any other physical activities can help to calm down your nerves and release tension. Whenever you are angry, consider walking for a short period of time unless your mind starts functioning clearly.

Yoga

Breathe, breathe and breathe! Yoga is one among common exercise that can help to cool down your anger and focus on the positive side. Breathing deeply can help to deal with anger issues in a person and brings a change in attitude. Savasana is one among the effective tools that helps deal with anger issues. Close your eyes and concentrate on breathing as it helps to curb anger.

Count till 10

Experts say, counting till 10 can help to control anger in a person. Most people suggest you should count until 10 or 50 before speaking to a person in anger. This little exercise can help to bring a lot of change in your behaviour and the chances of losing temper quite often starts to diminish.

Spend time with yourself

Time breaks aren’t just for children, but it is for individuals as well. Give yourself short breaks and try to spend some time with yourself. If nothing, you can sleep peacefully for some time, which will help to calm down your nerves as well as anger. Spending some time in peace can help you to get prepared with things rather than getting irritated and always angry.

Power of water

“Anger is like flowing water; there's nothing wrong with it as long as you let it flow. Hate is like stagnant water…” said C. JoyBell.

There’s nothing good than swimming when it comes to controlling anger. Anger needs to be flown out of your body and hence swimming is one among the exercises that releases all tension and stress from the body. It unclogs your mind and improves your attitude as well.
