The United States Space Force is a new American armed service. Apart from protecting US interest in space and conducting space operations, the service is also meant to “deter aggression in, from, and to space,” whatever that means. While the whole idea of launching a Space Force has been controversial, recently, the new uniform design unveiling attracted a great deal of ridicule from the tweeple.
The official twitter handle of the US Space Force announced the touchdown of the new uniform nametapes.
They were keen to point out that the utilisation of camo in space is rather redundant.
Those who do not think very highly of the intellectual abilities of President Trump were of this view.
This was the explanation for using camo in space: uniformity with ground counterparts and cost-saving.
Some had these facetious questions to ask.
There was a lot of mockery of the very idea of combat uniforms in space.
Camo is supposed to help a soldier blend in with a natural background. The futility of this in space triggered a lot of sarcastic responses.

Hollywood has given us some laugh-out-loud alien beings over the years, points out this tweet.
They thought that something like this was more appropriate.
The tweeple had a lot of utterly silly alternative suggestions.
People had other expectations of what the uniforms would look like.
Considering that one of the rather fantastical aims of the Space Force is to protect earth from space invasions; some thought that a wizard’s robe would be appropriate.
Some suggested uniforms as absurd as they thought the idea of Space Force was.
George Takei, (Hikaru Sulu from Star Trek) also pointed out the futility of camo in space.

What is the need for a Space Force anyway, asked numerous tweeple?
People are just not convinced of the need for an additional force to defend from some imagined outer space threat.
One of the issues that concern the American public at present are crushing student debt and the difficulty so many young adults face to become debt-free. Space Force, they feel, is irrelevant and/or a waste of money.
Many think that this is yet another diversion from the impeachment proceedings and other scandals that have rocked this American dispensation.
