Kamaal R Khan is quite unique. He has no particular talent or skill and is so average looking as to be utterly forgettable. His Wikipedia page describes him as “producer, actor, director, writer and assistant lyricist” (strangely also described as a ‘practical comedian’ whatever that means) but most of us would be hard put to it to recall a single production he has been a part of. And yet he is famous. Celebs know him and so do the hoi polloi. Most people dislike the man; some admire him; few can remain indifferent. What accounts for this ability to be famous for no reason?

He has starred in a film called Deshdrohi in 2008 which he produced and no one watched. He was also a part of the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’. Apart from these instances, he is famous only for being sexist, casteist and various other things that translate to cretin.

So our man KRK made offensive and derogatory remarks against Dhanush for his work in Ranjhanaa. This is what he said: “In the whole of UP, you will find cobblers and sweepers who look like Dhanush but you will not find a single Brahmin of such dirty looks as him in entire UP.” Breathtaking? Quite.
