Everything in life evolves and so do festivals. Who’d have thought that Holi would be celebrated at a water park in a vast wading pool of pink water with – wait for it – footwear flying through the air! It was a bizarre sight that met visitors to this water park in Patna. Then of course there were more traditional celebrations and plenty of #Holi2022memes as expected.
We can see a sea of young men and boys in a vast wading pool that has turned pink with colour. The projectiles flying through the air and floating on the water are chappals – this, apparently is fun.

This is the day when some people enjoy themselves, while for others, concepts such as consent and personal space simply go for a toss.
There are other ways to celebrate the festival of colour
Some of us do not enjoy having to spend an hour in the bathroom with shampoo, Vaseline and even kerosene afterwards.
