The new integration announced and ready to go, commuters across the country can ask Google for directions and book rides directly from Google Search.
How the process will work for consumers, is relatively easy. Consumers will immediately see a tab on Google Search for ride services from Uber and Ola. The estimates for either of the services will be fair and how one has always experienced both the commuter service brands.
Consumers will also be able to see a tab for pick up times, which obviously will depend and vary accordingly. If a car is available near the destination for a passenger, that information will also be provided in the same tab on Google Search for Ola Cab and Uber.
At times one doesn't have either of the brands' app installed on one's device. But no worries. It's pretty simple. Google search will simply show the link to a user to download the app without any delay.
