We generally know when its friendship day because everyone starts wishing everyone else on social media. It’s nice – it is a way to touch base with people one is not in touch with all the time; a way to let past and present friends know you're thinking of them fondly. So celebs wished other celebs and their fans and the Mumbai Police also decided to wish people Happy Friendship Day:
Yuvraj Singh posted a video that contained a series of images of people he considers friends with the Yeh Dosti song from Sholay playing in the background. Tennis player Sania Mirza commented on the post, saying she was ‘offended’ not to be in the video.
The Mumbai police put up a video where their personnel seem to be doing something questionable which is revealed to be positive in the end. These are some #UnusualBondsOfKhaki they said; wishing Mumbaikars #HappyFriendshipDay - a good way to improve the negative image so many have of the police.
