As one of the biggest and most exciting upcoming events to happen in the UAE in the coming year, the Dubai Expo 2020 has caught everyone's attention. The ecofriendly pavilions of the different countries represented in the expo and the huge boost that the event is expected to give to the economy are all matters of interest. Now, people are getting a glimpse into the Dubai Expo site as well.
The pavilions of all the 190 participating nations are currently under construction, including UAE’s falcon inspired pavilion. This video features drone footage of the construction so far as well as the virtually rendered finished creations.
The Montenegro Pavilion will offer a glimpse into the stunning natural beauty of the country, cultural history and national parks. The Pavilion will feature a forest of lights and augmented reality and will also tell the story of the nation’s first printing press.
The ground-breaking for the Australian pavilion was also announced recently. Similarly, many other country pavilions are under various stages of construction, which visitors can view on their conducted tours.
This will be a unique interactive pavilion where visitors will be able to contribute to a poem inspired by physicist Stephen Hawking.
This will be known as the Green Ark pavilion and will also feature some authentic Belgian eats.
The country's craftspeople, the diversity of the people and the culture and of course the food – the Moroccan pavilion will feature all of this and more.
This pavilion will feature some of the unique ways that the country chooses to power some of its communities. Floating solar panels! Visitors will get a glimpse into this.
The expo also hopes to make an actual difference to the lives of people, such as the garment workers in Bangladesh; hoping to improve their health and wellbeing.
The expo sites are still under construction but no less fascinating for it. To give people an idea of what they can expect, Expo site preview tours are being organised. These have proved to be highly popular and the 3,300 available seats have sold out within three hours.
Those that missed it still have the chance to engage with future previews and other events and can register with the expo2020dubai.com website or visit the link in the tweet.
