Most people have been forced to remain at home with the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the country; rather the world. The bills got progressively higher – maybe it had something to do with the summer temperatures?
Even as citizens are dealing with higher-than-usual bills, the rains have arrived along with exasperating power outages.
In many homes parents are having the ‘austerity’ chat with their kids – making it clear that ACs and other electric appliances will now have to be used sparingly.
We’re not made of money!
The middle class is really feeling the pinch.
With fuel and other essentials also becoming more expensive, ordinary people have a lot to deal with.
Those who were scared of the dark earlier are now scared of the light.
