Cricket is like a religion in India. Everybody follows it, worships it and can’t live without it. The craze for this sport is unmatched. International cricket has some fantastic players who have made us go ‘hmmmm’ either with their playing or because of their good looks and at times both. A big salute to these stars.

Known as the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is responsible for making cricket as the unofficial national sport of India. With most of the batting records belonging to Sachin Tendulkar, he is, he was and he will be the best batsman in the cricket world.

Probably one of the best batsmen in the world, Vivian Richard is widely known as a “great cricketer”. The word “swagger” is frequently used to describe his batting style. His batting style would express his guts and mental strength.

He is the true essence of batting and running between the wickets. You may call others as best, but Brian Lara rules the category of being dangerous to the other team.
5. Richard Hadlee
Probably one of the most destructive and beautiful cricketers of his time. Look at his bowling average and records. When you come back to your senses, take a look at his batting records.
6. Wasim Akram
Not to forget, Wasim Akram is known for his amazing bowling records and figures. He is considered to be one of the founders and perhaps the finest exponent of reverse swing bowling. Akram was so fine in his bowling that he could swing the ball in two ways, which is called as the double swing of Wasim Akram.
7. Imran Khan
One of the best sportsperson known from Pakistan and in the world is Imran Khan. He is the most successful captain who led his team to the 1992 World Cup. Imran Khan is one among the eight world cricketers to have achieved an ‘All-rounder’s Triple’ in Test matches.
8. Gary Sobers
Originally started playing as a well-trained bowler, Gary started improving his batting line and today is known as an all-rounder. Sobers scored 365 not out against Pakistan in a maiden test which was later broken by Brian Lara in 1994.
9. Muttiah Muralitharan
Popularly known by the name Murali, he is rated as the greatest Test match bowler ever by Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack in 2002. During a match, he captured 8 wickets and became the first to reach the milestone of taking 800 Test wickets by dismissing Pragyan Ojha.
10. Jacque Kallis
Current coach of Kolkata Knight Riders, Jacque Kallis is one of the greatest all-rounders in Cricket world who retired from international cricket with 25,529 runs, 577 wickets, and 336 catches. He is surely a real stunner!
