Shankar Mahadevan

The famous composer and playback singer, who has won National Award four times, is a graduate in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Navi Mumbai. He used to work as a software engineer for Leading Edge Systems and left his job and ventured into the Music world.

Sushant Singh Rajput

He studied Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and also secured rank 7 at the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) in 2003. However, he studied only for 3 years and dropped out to pursue his acting career.

Ameesha Patel

She studied Bio-genetic engineering for almost two years, and then switched to Economics at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. After graduation, she started working as an economic analyst at Khandwala Securities Limited. After returning to India, she joined Satyadev Dubey's theatre group and started acting in plays. From there, she moved on to modelling and acting in movies.

Akkineni Nagarjuna

This famous Indian actor is mainly known for his work in Telugu cinema and has also appeared in a few Bollywood and Tamil films. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy and M.S. in Automobile Engineering from Eastern Michigan University. However, he pursued his interest in acting and became successful, after his debut in a lead role in a Telugu movie, Vikram in 1986.

R. Madhavan

He is popularly known for his roles in movies such as Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, 3 Idiots and Khadoos Saala. He got his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from Rajaram College, Kolhapur.

Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood, who recently appeared in an International project Kung Fu Yoga, with Jackie Chan, got his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur. But, he moved to acting soon after his graduation and established himself as one of the most prominent actors in the industry.
