6 Bollywood Movies That Were Rejected By Kajol

Kajol is one of the finest and most talented actresses in the industry, yet she accepted some terrible roles while rejecting some fantastic ones. We don't understand why but here is the list of her rejections.
Karishma Kapoor's role in Shakti-The Power. With a sotryline that resembled the English Classic 'Not without my daughter' Kajol would have been truly amazing in this role.
At a time when the Shahrukh-Kajol Jodi was the biggest hit in Bollywood, we hear there were rumours of Ajay Devgn not liking Kajol working with Shahrukh. This might have led to the following rejections.
Veer-Zaara - While Preity Zinta was hauntingly beautiful as Zaara, fans can only wish they had seen Kajol in this role and can never understand why she'd say no.
Dil To Pagal Hai - Offered Karishma's role in the movie we can understnad why she'd say no to playing second fiddle to Madhuri Dikshit, but we never did think Kajol would need to be worried.
Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna - Rani's role in this was originally offered to Kajol. maybe it was the whole infidelity angle that stopped her. Or maybe it was the infidelity with SRK which gave pause to Ajay Devgn. **Wink**
Chalte Chalte - Another Shahrukh movie which was ultimately done by Rani Mukherjee. It was a good, strong role of a rich girl falling for a middle class entrepreneur. No idea why she'd say no to this.
Mohabbatein - One of the silliest movies ever signed by both SRK and Big B. Those of us who watched it and wanted to claw our eyes out really wish we'd at least had a warm blooded actress with talent, like Kajol playing SRK's love interest.
Dil Se - For this one we are genuinely upset with Kajol. Dil Se was a true phenomenon and with great music. While Manisha Koirala was great, but Kajol would have been unbelievable in the role of the terrorist from Kashmir who falls in love with a journo from Delhi.
Each of the movies mentioned previously were huge hits at the box office despite Kajol not starring in the movie. The movies that follow will also leave you stumped because there was no SRK in them.
Khamoshi - Another Manisha Koirala starrer, with hauntingly beautiful music. Kajol would have been amazing as Annie the girl with deaf-mute parents, who falls in love with a boy from the mainland and deals with the guilt of her baby brother's death.
3 Idiots - At one time we'd have said that Kajol would have been too old to play the role of Pia in this classic. But then we saw her in Dilwale and we were like, she would have been awesome as Pia. Why did she say no?
