Kiara Advani was born as Alia Advani in Mumbai. Her father Jagdeep Advani is a businessman and mother Genevieve Jaffrey is in teaching profession.

She made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with a comedy drama film, 'Fugly' opposite Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, Arfi Lamba and Jimmy Shergill.
