Amitabh Bachchan Is Living With 75 Percent Liver Damage

In a blogpost, Amitabh Bachhan has revealed that almost 75% of his liver is damaged.

While shooting for the film 'Coolie', he met with an accident due to which almost 60 bottles of blood was given to him. One of the bottles contained the dreaded virus Australian antigen Hep B.

Coolie is known as one of his biggest blockbuster movies. However, ever since he has lived with the virus which silently ate up his liver.

In 2004 or 2005, during a regular checkup, the virus was detected and shocked the whole family.

Now he is surviving with only 25% of his liver and is under constant medication.
