In reality, Kashibai and Mastani met only once in their lifetime and that too formally. But in the film, they meet each other many times and are also seen dancing together which never actually happened.
In the scene where Kashibai is shown applying haldi-kukum on Mastani's forehead, its all done wrongly. Priyanka is shown dipping only one finger and applying just haldi on Deepika's forehead. In reality, both haldii & kumkum are supposed to be applied using two different fingers!
Priyanka as Kashibai used words like “Bavlat” which is a word from the modern language and means 'Mad'. Such words were not a part of the language spoken by Peshwas.
Maharashtrian Mangalsutras are only of two types - A simple gold bead strung in black thread and a long black beaded necklace with two hollow minuscule bowls like structures. Priyanka is shown wearing a modern version throughout the film.
