Emraan Hashmi, who will be playing former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in his upcoming biopic, has presented the first look of 'Azhar' to Azharuddin as a gift on his birthday.

It is said that, Emraan specially shot for this photo, which is inspired by Azhar’s early days, when he made his debut as a Test cricketer in the ’80s.

The teaser of his forthcoming film 'Azhar', which is based on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin's life was launched by Emraan Hashmi in May, 2015.

In the teaser, Emraan is shown taking the viewers through Azharuddin's life from being a successful cricketer to being termed a traitor.

Directed by Tony D’Souza, produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures, Azhar will be released worldwide on May 13, 2016.
