Have you ever noticed these coloured stripes at the bottom of your toothpastes? Do you know what it means?

Recently, a graphic was circulated, where they have explained the meaning of the different colours.

Although, these were just rumours and there is no connection between these coloured stripes and the ingredients.

In reality, these stripes are called as eye mark or just colour mark, because they are read by the electric eye and sensors to identify the boundaries, in a speed processing method.
