Swara Bhaskar is an Indian actress who is known for her work in movies like 'Tanu Weds Manu', 'Tanu Weds Manu Return' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'.

Swara was born in New Delhi to a Telugu family of a Naval officer Chitrapu Uday Bhaskar.

Recently, she has won an award for best actress in the Silk Road International Film Festival for her critically acclaimed film 'Nil Battey Sannata'.

She has also won two Filmfare awards for her Best Supporting Actress in the movies 'Tanu Weds Manu' and 'Raanjhanaa'.

She made her acting debut in a supporting role with a film 'Madholal Keep Walking', which was not so successful at the box office.

But from her recent performances it seems like she is the new promising actress in Bollywood. Soon she will be seen in another movie 'Mango'.
