Inspiring Life Journey of Johnny Lever - From Pen Seller To Comedian

The great comedian Johnny Lever was brought up in Mumbai, but due to financial problems he left his studies and used to sell pens on the streets of Mumbai.
After that, he spent some time in Yakutpura, an old city of Hyderabad, where he learnt many styles of comedy.
Many of don't know but his real name is John Prakasa Rao Janumala. He used to work in the Hindustan Lever factory in Mumbai, where he gave his performances on stage, after which his co-workers started calling him “Johnny Lever”.
He also used to perform in musical shows in his early days. Later he joined the group of Kalyanji-Anandji, a legendary music director.
Lever got his first break in 'Tum Par Hum Qurban'. Since then, he has acted in more than 350 films and still going strong.
He has given us many hits in the 90's. His most acclaimed performance was considered to be the role of "Babulal" from the film, 'Baazigar'.
