Some Interesting Facts About Shilpa Shukla of Chak De! India

Shilpa Shukla, who is known for her role in the 2007 movie 'Chak De! India', made her acting debut with the Pakistani film 'Khamosh Pani' in 2003.
In an interview she confessed that she had enrolled herself in Sri Ram Centre of Acting, but dropped out within 20 days.
After which, she joined a theatre group called 'Asmita', where she learned acting.
After 'Chak De! India' she was featured in the ‘B A Pass’, that won many international awards like Audience Choice Award at the South Asian Alternative Film Festival in France..
After B A Pass, she was reportedly unhappy and depressed because of the negative image created by her character in this film.
And in real life Shilpa Shukla follows Buddhism. While, her brother, Tenzin Priyadarshi is a monk.
