IRCTC Website Hacked, 1 Crore Users Data On Risk

Recently, the E-ticket portal of Indian Railways was allegedly hacked on Tuesday night.

According to Maharashtra Police, it is suspected that the personal data of over 1 crore users have been leaked.

This hacking could be the biggest hack in India that has raised serious concerns over the users confidential information like phone numbers, email IDs and Aadhar card.

Although, according to some officials the website is now under control but misuse of stolen date can be a serious concern.

There are also many rumours on social media that the hacked data is being sold on CD's worth Rs. 15,000 each by the hackers.
